STUDENT REGISTRATION

Registration is closed as we shut down for retirement.  Thanks for all the amazing years!

We schedule drives on a first come first served basis.  Which means if your student has their permit and is 100% done with the online class they can schedule drives.  Students that get everything done quickly get 1st choice of what is available.

Students can start the online class right away once they are 15 years old.  They can get up to 75% completed with the online class with no payment required.  Tuition per student is $500 for the online class and 6 hours of behind the wheel instruction.

Once payment is made we will issue a CDE form you take to the BMV to get the students permit.

A student may take the BMV drive test with us.  It is $40 cash on the day of the test if you choose that option or you can add that at registration.

Let me know if you have any other questions.  Thanks,

If you are 15 years old you may begin working on the following steps to get your Probationary Driver's License.

Step 1 - Become a Prospective Student

*Prospective Student - a prospective student has completed the following

  • Register online

  • Sign up and start the online class (no payment required)

    • (Indiana requires 30 hours of classroom time that must be completed along with 6 hours of behind-the-wheel time)

Step 2 - Work toward becoming a Fully Registered Student

*Fully Registered Student-  to request to become a fully registered student you must complete the following

  • Complete 75% of the online class (request an invoice if you would like to get your students permit sooner)

  • Request an Invoice by email

    • There may be a waiting list to register depending on the volume of students

      • Example: Summer is a popular time to drive

  • Make payment in full

When your payment is received we will send you a CDE form.

Step 3 - Schedule Drives

Once you have your Learners Permit and you completed 100% of the online class you can schedule your 6 hours of driving lessons. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR PERMIT BEFORE YOU DRIVE.

  • We will make every effort to finish the students driving prior to their earliest eligible license date.  It might take a while to get you on the drive schedule.  There is no guarantee we will have drive availability within your specific time frame but we strive to be as flexible as we can.  While you are waiting for your drives, you are encouraged to practice driving with your permit.

Next Steps

  • To complete the behind-the-wheel portion of the class you will need to receive an overall grade of 80% on all drive skills taught.

  • Once you have passed both the online class and the behind-the-wheel driving you will receive your completion certificate.

  • This is the certificate you will need to present to the BMV when you are eligible to get your Probationary Driver's License.

  • When are you eligible to get your Probationary Driver's License?

    • If you pass a drivers education course

      • Age 16 and 90 days or 180 days after you get your permit which ever date is later.

    • If you choose not to take drivers education

      • Age 16 and 270 days or 180 days after you get your permit whichever date is later.
